Bariatric Surgery Tied to Early Benefits in MASLD

Among patients with metabolic dysfunction-associated steatotic liver disease (MASLD), bariatric surgery was associated with early significant reductions in the prevalence of MASLD and hepatic steatosis and fibrosis as assessed using FibroScan.

METHODOLOGY:
